I got my adsense account approved 2 months ago. I was very happy that time. But after 1 month, i noticed that i am not earning much from Google Adsense. I tried to find the reasons behind this. After coming With a list of reasons, i tried my best to improve these points. And whoa!! My Adsense revenue increased drastically. I am very happy now.
That's why i am sharing these tips with you. By using these tips i can tell that you can definitely increase adsense revenue. This all points are tested by me and works very effectively. So, let's start.
1) Selecting High CPC keywords:-
Selecting high CPC keywords for blog or blog posts ensures guaranteed increase in your revenue. CPC is the cost advertiser is willing to pay for per click on ad. If we write an article related to a High CPC keyword, you will definitely make some revenue from ads that shown about that keyword.Also, using high CPC keywords increases your overall CPC for all the ads shown on your blog. I will recommend you to use SEMRush tool to find high CPC keywords.
2) Ads Type:-
Google adsense offers three types of ad units, i.e., Text Ads, Image Ads and Video Ads. You are highly recommended to use both Text and Image ads to ensure greater Click-through-Rate. These ads are shown according the keywords, site, Audience demography, etc.The effectiveness of image and video ads are different according to niche. Image ads suits best for Picture, Blogging and Tech related blogs. While, text ads attracts more clicks if used for education niche.
Try to use different ad types according to your Niche.
3) Ad unit Size :-
Ad unit size plays important role in attracting clicks. Google offers us various ad unit sizes. And Google suggests us to use 336×280 (Large Rectangle), 300×250 (Medium Rectangle), 160×600 (Wide Skyscraper) and 728×90 (LeaderBoard) ad units. According to Google, this ad unit sizes are best working for any type of blogs.4) Ads Placement:-
After selecting correct ad type and ad unit size, let's move to next important point, i.e., Ads Placement. It is really important to display ads at right place on your blog. Placing ads at the right place increases the number of clicks on ads and ultimately, increase in adsense income.If you want to get more clicks on your ads, i would recommend you to show ads on Header part, Below Post Title and inside the posts. This three places attracts the attention of readers.
5) Block low paying ads :-
Google Adsense displays ads according visitors history and demographic. If you are a Tech blogger, it is possible that irrelevant ads will be shown. If you blog about Tech news, Reader is interested in Tech news and Adsense is shows fashion and clothes related ad, we can definitely say that reader is not interested in that and will not click that ad. These type of ads are low CPC ads. It is best to remove them.6) Utilize Google Search Box :-
If you have Google Powered Search box, then you can utilize that and increase Adsense income. Whenever a user searches from the Search box at your site, Google will show him relevant search results along with ads. If reader clicks on that ad, you get paid. That's really simple.FINAL WORDS:-
